Insphire a moderately capable Software for Hire Companies, originally launched as toilet rental software and moved into tool hire. It has a few features but is very expensive for what it is as for some strange reason you need to pay them a huge installation fee and then a subscription every year, even though it is hosted and maintained by you. We also found their support was lacking behind others. It is another old legacy Windows based rental inventory management system, however due to it's high price, high setup costs, we and lack of features compared to others, we downgraded it.
Insphire have released a very limited and expensive cloud software called On-Rent, but it has hardly any features, only has online support and is very expensive for a very basic system.
Concerning us is that Insphire are now insisting users sign upto a 3 year contract to lock them in. Why would this be necessary, unless it is to stop users leaving when they want to and lock them into an agreement they don't want to be a part of? We also do not like how once you stop paying for support, they disable remotely disable the software, even after you paid for it. In our opinion, practices like these are something only a dishonest company would do.
